The Egyptian Al Ahly club is close to signing Mostafa Kabeel, the striker of the Iraq under-23 national team and star of Erbil Club, in preparation for officially joining during the current winter transfer period. This is part of the Red Castle's efforts to strengthen its ranks with young and promising talents.

The young player has impressed Al Ahly's officials, both at the board level and the technical staff, prompting the club's management to move quickly to finalize the deal, with strong indications of an imminent official announcement in the coming hours.

Al Ahly has already obtained the approval of Erbil Club and the player to complete the contract, with only the finalization of the contract details and the inclusion of some specific clauses remaining before the file is completely closed.

A source within Al Ahly told winwin platform in exclusive statements that there is complete agreement within the club to sign Mostafa Kabeel, after the player received the approval of Danish coach Jess Thorup, who expressed his admiration for the player's technical abilities and potential for development in the future.

The source added that Sayed Abdel Hafeez, a board member and acting general supervisor of the football sector, conducted an Arab tour in recent days to negotiate with several Arab players, including Mostafa Kabeel. An agreement was reached with the player on financial details, as well as with Erbil Club on the value of the deal.

The source emphasized that Al Ahly's management is in the stage of drafting the contracts before sending them to the player and his Iraqi club, in preparation for officially completing the contract, in addition to the player undergoing the usual medical examinations.
