Al Ahly Moves to Decide Dieng's Fate After Reports of Signing with Valencia
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that Al-Ahly has decided to hold a meeting with Aliou Dieng upon his return to Cairo in order to directly inquire about the truth regarding his signing with Valencia.
There have been recent reports about Dieng signing with the Spanish club Valencia.
Al-Ghandour added on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program that if it is confirmed that the player has not signed with the Spanish club, Al-Ahly will offer a contract renewal for the player with a financial value close to 2 million dollars.
Al Ahly drew 1-1 with Young Africans yesterday, Saturday, in the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Aliou Dieng scored the equalizing goal for Al Ahly in the 60th minute of the match.
