Barcelona secured an important victory against Elche with a score of 3-1 in the match held at the Martínez Valero Stadium, as part of the 22nd round of the Spanish League.

Barcelona opened the scoring early through Lamine Yamal in the sixth minute, before Elche managed to equalize in the 29th minute with a goal from Álvaro Rodríguez. The Catalan team continued their pressure, allowing Ferran Torres to score the second goal in the 40th minute, ending the first half with Barcelona in the lead.

In the second half, Barcelona confirmed their dominance after Marcus Rashford scored the third goal in the 72nd minute, securing the match for the visiting team with a score of three goals to one.

With this victory, Barcelona increased their tally to 55 points, leading the Spanish league standings, while Elche remained at 24 points in twelfth place.
