Rashford came on as a substitute in the second half of Barcelona's match against Elche, after Raphinha left the game due to muscle overload. After missing a clear chance on his first appearance following a pass from Frenkie de Jong, the English winger returned to seal the deal on his second attempt, scoring his team's third goal with a powerful shot, securing Barcelona's 3-1 victory.

With this goal, Rashford increased his tally to 10 goals across various competitions this season, with 4 goals in La Liga and 5 goals in the UEFA Champions League, where he tops the team's scoring chart in the continental tournament alongside Firmin Lopez, in addition to one goal in the Copa del Rey.

The report indicated that Rashford, despite alternating between the starting lineup and the bench, maintains a good scoring rate by scoring a goal approximately every 200 minutes.
