A New European Destination for Al-Nassr's Loaned Player
The Colombian John Duran, a striker for Saudi club Al-Nassr who is on loan to Turkish club Fenerbahçe, is seeking a new destination during the current winter transfer window without imposing any financial burdens on the capital club.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that John Duran's agent has intensified efforts recently to find an alternative club to receive the player on a loan basis without financial obligations on Al-Nassr.
The newspaper clarified that these steps came following a dispute between Doran and the Italian Domenico Tedesco, the head coach of the Turkish team Fenerbahçe.
The Colombian striker's agent is working with several European parties to secure a new loan, emphasizing a key condition that Al-Nassr club should not bear any costs.
John Duran's agent wishes to include a purchase option clause in the upcoming loan agreement, allowing the new club to permanently acquire the player from Al-Nassr.
The agent has not yet received any official offers, as the negotiations are still in the verbal stage, particularly with the French club Lille, along with two other European clubs.
Al-Nassr signed Duran in January 2025, coming from the English club Aston Villa, with a contract extending until 2030. His current market value is estimated to be around 32 million euros.
Duran joined Fenerbahçe last summer on a one-year loan after playing 18 matches for Al-Nassr, during which he scored 12 goals.
During his time with Fenerbahçe, the Colombian forward participated in 21 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.
