Bentaig Joins Zamalek Training and Honorary Guard for Omar Gaber

The Moroccan player Mahmoud Bentayeg, the left-back for the first football team of Zamalek Club, participated in the group training held today, Friday, at the Military Academy Stadium, as part of the team's preparations to face Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi in the CAF Confederation Cup.

He shared the results in the physical session with his teammates naturally, before engaging in technical and tactical training, in a positive indication of his readiness ahead of the anticipated match against the Port Said team.

Today's training session featured a special gesture from the Zamalek players, as they organized a guard of honor for the team captain, Omar Gaber. The players, along with the technical, medical, and administrative staff, made sure to congratulate him on his birthday, wishing him success and a swift return to the field.

Omar Gaber continues his rehabilitation program to recover from a sprain in the inner ligament of his knee, which has kept him from participating with the team in recent times.

At the time when the players who participated as starters against Petrojet only underwent recovery training, as decided by the technical staff led by Moatamed Gamal, to avoid fatigue before the upcoming match.
