The German Matthias Jaissle, head coach of Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club, decided to temporarily halt training and grant the team players a break before the anticipated match against Al-Hilal in the Roshn League.

Journalistic sources revealed that the Al-Ahly coach preferred to give the players a two-day rest, yesterday and today, Friday, as part of a special preparation plan for the 20th round of the competition.

The Saudi sports newspaper clarified that training will resume tomorrow, Saturday, as the team begins actual preparations to face Al Hilal at their stadium in Riyadh.

The newspaper indicated that the current rest period is the longest for Al-Ahly players since returning from the break that the league experienced last December.

She confirmed that Saturday's training will feature an extensive tactical drill, during which Yisle will focus on tactical aspects, while Sunday's session will be light to physically prepare the players.

The newspaper indicated that the Al-Ahly delegation will head to the capital, Riyadh, on Sunday evening via a private plane, in preparation for entering the atmosphere of the anticipated match.

Al-Ahli occupies the second position in the Saudi Professional League standings with 43 points, trailing the leader Al-Hilal by three points, which gives the match a special competitive edge.
