Session Held to Resolve Mohamed Awad's Issue with Zamalek
The journalist Gamal Al-Ghandour revealed the latest developments in the crisis of Mohamed Awad, the goalkeeper of Zamalek, with his club. The player leaked the news of his exclusion from the team's list for the match against Petrojet in the Egyptian League.
Al-Ghandour said during the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program: "There are accusations against Awad that he contributed to undermining the system and discipline within the team, noting that a meeting will be held to determine the final stance on the goalkeeper. He pointed out that Awad refused to comply with the technical staff's decisions, while the other goalkeeper, Mohamed Sobhi, remained silent."
He continued: "So far, there is no official penalty against Mohamed Awad, and if any decision is made to punish him, it will be announced. He noted that the goalkeeper's actions before the match harmed his personal interests and those of the team."
Al-Ghandour concluded: "There will be a session with Awad in the coming hours before the match against Al-Masry to resolve his issue, and there is a complete refusal for the goalkeeper to leave permanently. He will continue his career with the team normally."
