Angelo Considered for Al-Nassr to Replace Brozović
Al-Nassr Saudi Club will miss the services of Croatian Marcelo Brozović in the upcoming match against Al-Khulood, following a technical decision to exclude him from the team’s squad for the 19th round of the Roshn Professional League.
Brozović's absence came after he failed to pass the medical examinations he underwent, due to suffering from thigh muscle pain that appeared before the team's training session on Wednesday evening.
Journalistic sources indicated that the Portuguese Jorge Jesus, the coach of Al-Nassr, preferred not to take risks with the player and decided to rest him in preparation for upcoming matches due to the pressure of competitions.
On the other hand, the coaching staff decided to include Brazilian Angelo Gabriel in the team's roster as a replacement for Brozović in the upcoming match against Al-Khulood.
Angelo returns to Al-Nassr's lineup after missing the last match against Al-Taawoun due to restrictions on the number of foreign players allowed to participate in each game.
Al-Nassr is also suffering from other significant absences, with Abdul-Ilah Al-Omari, Wesley Teixeira, Haider Abdul-Karim, and Abdullah Al-Khaibari missing for various reasons.
Al-Nassr enters the match occupying third place in the Saudi Professional League standings with 40 points, aiming to continue competing for the top spot.
