Fiery Escalation from Talisca: 'Numbers Don't Lie' and the Story of Leaving Al-Nassr Resurfaces
Thursday 29-01-2026
The Brazilian Anderson Talisca, a player for Turkish club Fenerbahçe, sparked widespread controversy after he strongly responded to statements made by Abdullah Al-Majed, the chairman of Al-Nassr Club's board of directors, regarding the reasons for his departure from the team.

Al-Majed had mentioned in his talk on the "Thamanyah" platform that Talisca caused a division among Al-Nassr fans, with some supporting his continuation and others believing that his departure was not a significant loss.

Through his official Instagram account, Talisca explained that the administrative changes within Al-Nassr have made the club more focused on the commercial aspect, stating that he no longer feels a sense of belonging to this project.

The former Al-Nassr star emphasized that numbers remain the most truthful witness, asserting that he is the fifth top scorer in the club's history and that his relationship with Al-Nassr is an inseparable part of his football career.

Talisca pointed out that he was one of the first players to experience the major transformation within the club, but he was surprised by the complete disregard for his history, whether from the management or in the way his departure was handled.

The Brazilian player added that the recent statements lack the complete truth, considering them disrespectful to Al-Nassr fans, and confirmed that he was forced to leave despite his ongoing scoring brilliance.

Talisca concluded his message by highlighting his statistics with Al-Nassr, having scored 77 goals, provided 17 assists, and contributed directly to around 93 goals, in addition to winning the Arab Cup title.
