Media Personality Requests Al Ahly to Announce Reason for Imam Ashour's Absence
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour requested Al-Ahly to announce the reason for Imam Ashour not traveling with the team delegation to play the match against Young Africans in the African Champions League.
Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "Why didn't Emam Ashour travel with the Al-Ahly delegation? Al-Ahly must announce to the public the reasons for his absence from the trip for the match against Young Africans."
Imam Ashour was included in Al Ahly's squad traveling to Tanzania to play against Young Africans, but the player was absent from the delegation and did not appear at the airport, with unclear reasons for his absence.
Al Ahly will face Young Africans next Saturday in the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
