The medical team of Zamalek's first football team revealed the details of the injuries sustained by the duo Mohamed Shehata and Mohamed Ibrahim during the match against Petrojet held today, Wednesday, as part of the Egyptian Premier League competition.

Zamalek secured an important victory over Petrojet with a score of two goals to nil in the match that brought the two teams together at the Cairo International Stadium, as part of the sixteenth round of the competition.

The medical team explained in a press statement that Mohamed Shehata complained of pain in the adductor muscle, noting that the player will undergo additional medical examinations in the coming hours to determine the extent of the injury and his potential absence duration.

On the other hand, Mohamed Ibrahim suffered a muscle strain during the match, and his medical condition will be fully assessed before he returns to training.

The coaching staff, led by Moatamed Gamal, decided to give the team players a break from group training tomorrow, Thursday, following the victory over Petrojet.
