Moatamed Gamal: I Thank the Players for Their Efforts and We Achieved an Important Victory
Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal spoke about the important victory his team achieved over Petrojet in the Premier League.
Zamalek secured a 2-0 victory over Petrojet on Wednesday evening in the 16th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
In the press conference following the match, Moatamed Gamal said: "We had many opportunities and didn't capitalize on them in the best way, scoring only two goals. Petrojet didn't pose a significant threat to Zamalek's goal."
He added, "I thank the players for their efforts in the match. I wanted to rest Mohamed Ismail, but Mohamed Shehata's injury disrupted our plans. We achieved an important victory."
He continued: "The players are always under pressure because they play for Zamalek Club, and the group of juniors has shown up well. I am not worried about using some young elements in the main lineup."
He continued: "Ahmed Fattouh underwent a scan to determine his status for the upcoming match against Al-Masry in the Confederation Cup. Additionally, Abdullah Al-Saeed recently returned to training, and within the next 10 days, the team will be at full strength."
