European clubs have made inquiries in the past few hours about the status of Colombian John Duran, the striker currently on loan from Al-Nassr to Turkish club Fenerbahçe until the end of the current season.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in transfer news, revealed that several European clubs have shown serious interest in signing John Duran, with the possibility of a late deal being completed before the market closes.

Romano clarified that resolving the matter depends on the stance of Fenerbahçe and the player himself, while also confirming that official inquiries have been received this week from clubs closely monitoring the player.

John Duran, aged 22, joined Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2023 on loan from Al-Nassr Saudi Club, with a contract extending until the end of the current season.

The Colombian forward participated in 21 matches wearing the Fenerbahçe jersey, during which he successfully scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists to his teammates across various competitions.

Duran joined Al-Nassr in January 2023, coming from English club Aston Villa, with a contract extending until June 2026. He participated in 18 matches with the team, scoring 12 goals.

The coming days will be crucial in determining the future of John Duran, amid anticipation from Al-Nassr regarding the outcome of European clubs' moves and Fenerbahçe's final decision.
