The Algerian club USM Alger announced today, Tuesday, the termination of the contract with coach Abdelhak Benchikha by mutual consent, following a meeting between the two parties at the club's headquarters, attended by the general sports director.

This decision comes to put an end to a phase during which Bencheikha led the team, in an experience characterized by multiple challenges on both the athletic and organizational levels, amid the pressure of results and numerous commitments.

The management of USM Alger confirmed that the separation occurred in a friendly atmosphere reflecting a spirit of professionalism and mutual respect. They expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the coach during his tenure overseeing the technical staff, valuing his professional commitment and his role in maintaining the stability of the team.

The club's management expressed its gratitude to Abdel Haq Bencheikh, praising his discipline and efforts to improve the team's collective performance despite the difficult circumstances that accompanied the previous phase.

In the same context, the club clarified that the assistant staff will temporarily lead the team in the upcoming period until a new coach is hired, with the identity of the new coaching staff to be announced in the next few days.
