The agent of Argentine forward Cristian Covani revealed that negotiations for his client's transfer to Al Hilal have stalled after Bayer Leverkusen rejected an official offer made during the current winter transfer window.

Eric DiBolo explained in a press statement that Al-Hilal made an actual offer to sign Cavani, but the German club's management did not agree to it, although they have not completely closed the door on the idea of selling.

The player's agent indicated that Leverkusen might consider letting go of Cavani in the future, but only if a financial offer arrives that matches the club's valuation and the young striker's potential.

Debolo confirmed that the deal is not impossible, explaining that the coming days may witness new developments if Al Hilal's offer improves during the current transfer window.

He added that the Al-Hilal Club project is considered an attractive option for Cavani, noting that the current failure of the deal does not prevent it from being reopened during the next summer transfer window.

Media reports have linked Al-Hilal with signing 19-year-old Christian Cavani to strengthen their attacking line, with a market value estimated at around 22 million euros.
