In the press conference before facing Copenhagen in the last round of the league stage of the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona player Dani Olmo spoke about the team's goals and his personal participation in the upcoming matches. His statements were as follows:

Regarding what coach Hans Flick asks of him, Olmo said: "He asks me to be myself. He has known me since the Bundesliga, and when I arrived, he told me that's why I came, because of my knowledge of play, how to control the ball under pressure, and how to reach the penalty area."

About his position as a number 8 player, he continued: "He tells me to control the game and make the team play. I am happy to participate more; there you have more contact with the ball. I will always give my best wherever I am placed."

Regarding La Masia academy, he continued: "Having many players from the academy has greater value. We have been here for a long time. Defending the club's badge in the first team is an additional thing that nothing else gives. This is shown not only in finals but in every match. Coming from the academy is an addition."

About goalkeeper Juan Garcia, he confirmed: "Juan Garcia is a great goalkeeper. He has proven that here and also at Espanyol. He helps us a lot and will continue to help us."

Regarding Barcelona without Pedri, he pointed out: "The position I feel most comfortable in is number 10. This is my position where I move better, but I have no problem adopting another role, with more freedom. I have done that in some matches this season, I have no problem."

About Lamin and comparisons to Messi, he continued: "Lamin has his own path. Any comparison between a player and Messi is madness. He has his own path, and we will accompany him to be better. If Lamin wins and scores goals, the team will win."

On his physical continuity, he said: "I knew I had to continue as I am on and off the field. This continuity allows me to continue this way. I kept doing what I thought suited me."

Regarding taking set-pieces: "We train on them. I am one of the players who takes free kicks. I have no problem taking on this responsibility, but it is also part of the tactical plans. We haven't scored yet, but we will continue to try and experiment."

About his goal this season: "The goal is to improve on last season, winning is the goal, the whole team knows that, and we will strive for it. Every match shows new things, but perfect play leaves no room for improvement."

Regarding Drew's departure: "Everyone has their reasons. I had my reasons, and Drew has his now. It's unfortunate because he was part of the club with us, but that's his decision. We wish him the best, and that's it."

On his current good form: "I am happy, but I can still present a better version of myself. I have gained more continuity and better accuracy. I can still improve in many aspects, and the best part of the season is coming. I want to continue winning and making the fans happy."

Regarding Firmin and renewing his contract: "I am very happy for him. He is a great player and a teammate I am very connected with. This is good news for the club and the dressing room. We have a great relationship on the field, and now we have more opportunities to play together, and we have proven that we are compatible."

On playing in a deeper position: "It is another role, other players can also play like Bernal and Casado Eric Garcia. This is a position I have played in with the coach and with other teams, there will be no problem."

Regarding following other matches: "We prepared for the match in the usual way, we reach the goal a lot, and we will have opportunities. The goal is to win first, then score as many goals as possible. Other matches do not concern us."

Regarding the team's goal: "We want to be among the top eight teams, this requires winning, and this is our goal."
