Football fans are preparing for the final round of the league stage in the UEFA Champions League, where all matches will be held simultaneously to ensure fair competition and prevent teams from knowing their fate in advance.

According to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport', the final round of the league stage will not take place today, Tuesday, January 27, due to the desire of the Union of European Football Associations to unify the timing of the matches, especially since most of the participating teams are still competing for the direct qualifying spots to the Round of 16 or the play-offs, while some teams will be directly eliminated.

The report indicated that the new format of the tournament allows only 8 teams to qualify directly to the Round of 16, while 16 other teams compete for play-off spots, and 12 other teams are directly excluded.

Based on this, the final round of the league stage of the UEFA Champions League will take place on Wednesday, January 28, at 10 PM Cairo time for all matches, to ensure fair competition and prevent teams from knowing their fate before taking to the field.
