Pablo Longoria, President of Marseille Club, commented on the news linking the French club with signing the English talent Ethan Nwaneri in a purchase deal, confirming that the idea of permanently contracting him is not on the table at all.

Longoria said: "Let's be clear; the purchase option is unrealistic. Nwaneri is a fundamental part of Arsenal's future project, and his true value lies in his great talent and athletic performance."

The Marseille President added that the club is aware of the player's status within Arsenal, emphasizing that any talk of a permanent deal does not align with the current reality, given the Gunners' hold on one of their most prominent young talents.

Nwaneri succeeded in scoring in his first match with the southern team against Lens in the French league, shortly after arriving on loan from Arsenal.
