The Spanish club Sevilla is close to reaching a final agreement to sign the French striker Neal Maupay, a player from Olympique Marseille, during the current transfer window.

According to press reports, most notably from Le10Sport, the deal will be on a loan basis with an option to buy for an amount close to 5 million euros.

Maupay has a diverse professional career, having started his journey in France before undergoing several experiences in England, most notably with Brentford, Brighton, and Everton in the Premier League, before returning to the French league through Olympique Marseille. The player is known for his combative style and ability to press and create spaces, making him a suitable option to strengthen Sevilla's offensive line.
