Al-Qadisiyah Rejects a Huge Offer from Al-Hilal to Sign Abu Al-Shamat
Officials from the Saudi club Al-Qadsiah rejected a substantial financial offer made by Al-Hilal club to acquire the services of Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat, the team's right-back, during the current winter transfer window, as Al-Hilal seeks to strengthen its squad with outstanding local players.
According to the Saudi sports newspaper, Al Hilal's management made an offer worth 50 million riyals, along with the possibility of loaning several players. However, Al Qadisiyah's management insisted on keeping the player and decided to reject the offer outright.
The newspaper confirmed that the management of Al-Qadisiyah Club denied the validity of the circulating news about the existence of a release clause in Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat's contract, indicating that the player's contract extends with the club until 2029, which gives the management a strong advantage in determining his future.
The same sources clarified that Abu Al-Shamat informed the Qadisiyah management of his desire to transfer to Al-Hilal's ranks. However, the club showed no interest in Al-Zaeem's offer, preferring to keep the player and close the file on his departure during the current winter transfer window.
