Spanish defender Mario Gila has become one of the standout names in the Italian Serie A due to his impressive performances with Lazio, which has caught the attention of major Italian clubs, most notably AC Milan.

Press reports have revealed that Milan has placed Gila in its sights and is preparing to make an official offer to sign the Spanish defender for 20 million euros during the upcoming summer transfer window, as his contract with Lazio is set to expire in just one year.

This deal is also significant for Real Madrid, which owns 50% of the player's sale rights, as part of his transfer deal to Lazio. This means that the royal club will receive 10 million euros upon the completion of the deal, an amount considered a "financial gift" for the club.
