The coaching staff of Al-Ittihad Club is awaiting the fate of Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti's participation in the upcoming match against Al-Okhdood, amid uncertainty surrounding the right-back's readiness before the 18th round of the Saudi Roshan League.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that the final decision regarding Al-Shanqeeti's participation will be determined today, Saturday, after assessing his medical and technical condition before the anticipated match.

The Al-Ittihad coach was forced to make an emergency substitution in the last match against Al-Qadsia, as Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti left the field at halftime, and Ahmed Al-Julaidan came on in his place.

Al-Shanqeeti is considered one of the key players for Al-Ittihad this season, having played 20 matches across all competitions, during which he scored 3 goals and provided 6 assists.

Al-Ittihad suffered a painful 2-1 defeat against Al-Qadsiah in the seventeenth round of the Roshan League, which increased the pressure on the team before facing Al-Okhdood.

The Union is preparing to face Al-Akhdood next Monday at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, as part of the eighteenth round of competitions.
