Ahmed El-Shenawy Congratulates Ramadan Sobhi After Suspension of Prison Sentence
Ahmed El-Shenawy, the goalkeeper of Pyramids FC, congratulated his teammate Ramadan Sobhi after the suspension of his imprisonment sentence.
El-Shenawy posted a picture with Ramadan Sobhi on Instagram and wrote: "Thank God."
The 30th Circuit of the Giza Criminal Court had previously issued verdicts in the case, sentencing Ramadan Sobhi and the second defendant, who took the exam on his behalf, to one year of imprisonment with labor and acquitting the third defendant, while the fourth fugitive defendant was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The Giza Criminal Court accepted Ramadan Sobhi's appeal and overturned his one-year prison sentence in the case of forgery of official documents. The court decided to suspend the execution of the sentence for three years.
