The ranks of Al-Nassr team suffered a physical setback ahead of the anticipated match against Al-Taawoun, as part of the 18th round of the Saudi Pro League, scheduled to take place next Monday, January 26, at "Al-Awwal Park" stadium.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that physical fatigue kept three foreign players away from Al-Nassr's group training. These players are the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the Spaniard Iñigo Martínez, and the Frenchman Mohamed Simakan, during the team's practice held on Friday.
The newspaper clarified that the trio only performed recovery exercises to recuperate from physical fatigue, while the rest of the team continued their collective training in preparation for the upcoming match against Al-Taawoun.
In the same context, the quartet of Ayman Yahya, Abdulilah Al-Omari, Sami Al-Najei, and goalkeeper Raghed Al-Najjar continue their rehabilitation programs to recover from injuries. The match between Al-Nassr and Al-Taawoun is scheduled to take place on Monday evening at 8:30 PM local time.
