Al-Hilal Approaches a Thunderous Offensive Strike.. Sami Al-Jaber Reveals the Behind-the-Scenes
Friday 23-01-2026
Sami Al-Jaber, the former Al-Hilal star, revealed important updates regarding the blue club's negotiations to sign the young French striker Mohamed Kader Miti during the current winter transfer window.

In recent days, Al-Hilal's management has entered advanced negotiations with the French club Stade Rennais to sign Kader Meté, who is 18 years old, to strengthen their forward line.

Sami Al-Jaber confirmed during his appearance on the "Nadeena" program on MBC channel that Al-Hilal has made significant progress in the deal and that the negotiations are proceeding positively.

Al-Jaber pointed out that Al-Hilal needs a strong foreign striker to complete the attacking lineup alongside Malcom, Salem Al-Dawsari, Ruben Neves, and Sergej Savic.

He explained that signing an outstanding striker will give the team greater aggression and form a formidable attacking trio, granting Salem Al-Dosari and Nunez more freedom on the field.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Al-Hilal has made a financial offer of 40 million euros to sign Kader Meté, with a contract extending until the summer of 2029.

Al-Hilal plans to register the player under the birth category, coinciding with the imminent departure of Brazilian winger Caio Cesar to Corinthians during the winter transfer window.

Al-Hilal has made four winter signings so far, including goalkeeper Rayan Al-Dosari, defender Pablo Mari, midfielder Murad Hawsawi, and winger Sultan Mandash.

Al-Hilal continues to lead the Saudi Roshan League with 44 points, collected from 14 wins and two draws after 16 rounds of the competition.
