Al Hilal Reveals Its Final Position on Al-Bulayhi's Departure
The management of Al Hilal Saudi Club has finalized its decision regarding the future of Ali Al-Bulayhi, the first team defender, amid ongoing speculation about his possible transfer to Al Shabab Club during the current winter transfer window.
Al Hilal's management, headed by Prince Nawaf bin Saad, rejected the official request submitted by Al Shabab Club, which sought to acquire Al-Bulayhi's services on a loan basis until the end of the current season.
Al Hilal's stance was clear, as the management does not object to the departure of the experienced defender, but it stipulates that the transfer must be permanent and not on loan, according to what was reported by Al Riyadiyah newspaper.
Ali Al-Bulayhi is 26 years old and has recently been excluded from the plans of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, which opened the door to speculation about his future with the blue team.
Despite the rejection of the loan, negotiations between Al Hilal and Al Shabab are still ongoing in an attempt to reach a suitable formula that allows the player's transfer during the winter market, with his contract extended until 2027.
Al-Bulayhi's last appearance in Al Hilal's jersey was against Sharjah in the AFC Champions League Elite on December 22 last year, before his absence from the starting lineup and the substitutes bench.
Al-Bulayhi is considered one of the most prominent defenders in Al Hilal's history, having spent eight and a half seasons during which he played 263 matches, scored 23 goals, assisted 3 goals, and won 13 championships.
