فيتينيا: سيطرتنا لم تُثمر أهدافًا، والسيناريو المكرر يرهقنا
Portuguese player Vitinha, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his disappointment after his team's 2-1 defeat against Sporting Lisbon in the seventh round of the group stage in the UEFA Champions League.
Vitinha said: "It's simple, we controlled the match, we had the chances, but we didn't score. It's a scenario we've seen many times before. Unfortunately, some lapses and mistakes cost us two goals, and that's why we lost."
He continued: "It's a scenario we've seen far more often than we'd like. We do our best with the opportunities, but if we don't score, it becomes difficult."
He added: "When we score, we shouldn't concede goals, but we conceded two, and that shouldn't happen. It was never a good day in terms of results."
