The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" revealed a remarkable figure highlighting Eric Garcia's status within Barcelona this season, after he became the only player to have participated in all the team's matches across various competitions so far, totaling 29 matches.

The newspaper mentioned that Garcia, who sometimes played as a midfielder during the current season, has not missed any match due to injury, suspension, or tactical decision, making him the most relied upon name by the German coach Hans Flick.

According to the newspaper, Eric Garcia also tops the list of players with the most starts, having started 25 out of 29 matches, surpassing Koundé who participated in 28 games but started only 23, following his complete absence from the match against Celta Vigo on November 9.

The report pointed out that Eric Garcia started only four matches on the bench, coming on as a substitute against Newcastle, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, and Racing, while Rashford ranked third in terms of appearances, having played 28 matches but started only 18.

The report confirmed that these numbers reflect the great confidence Hans Flick places in Eric Garcia, making him one of the main pillars in Barcelona's lineup during the current season.
