Al-Ittihad knocks on Al-Nassr's door to reclaim Al-Amri once again

Al-Ittihad Club has renewed its activity in the winter transfer market, aiming to sign Abdulilah Al-Amri, the defender from Al-Nassr, as part of the management's efforts to strengthen the defensive line with prominent local players.

Al-Ittihad's management has submitted an official offer to their counterparts at Al-Nassr, requesting to loan Abdulilah Al-Amri until the end of the current season, according to what was revealed by the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah.

This move comes after previous failed attempts, as Al-Nassr had refused to let Al-Amri go in last summer's transfer window, based on the wishes of the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus.

Abdullah Al-Amri is currently suffering from a hamstring injury, which caused him to miss the Riyadh Derby match against Al-Hilal, which ended with Al-Nassr losing 3-1.

Al-Amri has a successful previous experience with Al-Ittihad, having played for the team on loan last season and winning both the Saudi League and the King’s Cup with them.

The federation's management hopes to leverage this previous experience to persuade Al-Nassr to agree to the loan, especially given the team's need for strong defensive support during the second half of the season.
