Reports from the "Dorina Ghair" program confirmed that the club's management has actually begun studying options to strengthen the defense, in response to a direct request from Conceição, who sees the need to reinforce this position.

Conceição expressed his admiration for Walid Al-Ahmad's abilities, the defender of the Al-Taawoun team, considering him a suitable option to strengthen Al-Ittihad's squad in the upcoming phase of the season.

However, the deal faces a potential obstacle, as Al-Qadsiah Club is close to finalizing the contract with Walid Al-Ahmad, which reduces Al-Ittihad's chances of securing the player.

In the same context, Al-Qadisiyah is awaiting an attractive financial offer to let go of their defender Jihad Thakri, with the aim of using the proceeds to complete the deal for Walid Al-Ahmad.

Al-Ittihad is closely monitoring the developments regarding Al-Qadisiyah's position, as they intend to submit a request to include Walid Al-Ahmad in case Al-Qadisiyah withdraws from the deal and the sale of Jihad Thakri is not completed.

On another note, the management of Al-Ittihad has not yet taken the initiative to offer contract renewals for the trio Fabinho, N'Golo Kanté, and Karim Benzema, preferring to postpone resolving their cases until the end of the current season.
