CAF Announces Refereeing Team for Algeria vs Nigeria Match
The African Football Confederation (CAF) has announced the refereeing team that will officiate the match between the Algerian and Nigerian national teams in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, currently being held in Morocco.
CAF assigned the task of officiating the match to Senegalese referee Issa Sy, who will be assisted by his compatriots Djibril Camara and Nouha Bangoura, in an anticipated encounter between two of the continent's top teams.
Regarding the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, the Gabonese referee Pierre Ghislain Atcho has been appointed to oversee it, while the Moroccan Yahya Hadqa will serve as the match referee observer.
