He has risen to prominence in recent years thanks to his clear development as a winger and forward, having started his journey through several academies and loan spells early on before establishing himself with Bristol City and then Bournemouth.

During his time with Bournemouth in the Premier League, Semenyo delivered excellent stats, featuring in over 100 league matches, scoring about 30 goals and providing 10 assists, confirming his role as an effective forward capable of making a difference in big games.

In the current season (2025-26), before his move to City, Semenyo scored 10 goals and made 3 assists in 20 Premier League matches, which helped attract the attention of England's top clubs toward his services.
