Venice Announces Signing of Iraqi Player
Italian club Venezia has announced the signing of 21-year-old Iraqi player Marco Farji, coming from the Norwegian club Stromsgodset, as part of its efforts to strengthen the team during the current period.
Farji signed a long-term contract with the Italian club extending until the summer of 2030, after Venezia reached an agreement with Stromsgodset to pay an amount of 1.8 million euros for the permanent transfer of the player.
Marco Farji is seen as one of the rising talents, with Venezia betting on him to be a strong addition to the team in the Italian second division (Serie B), and to contribute to the club's project aiming to compete for promotion spots to the Italian top league (Serie A).
