Juventus Terminates Tudor's Contract by Mutual Consent
Friday 09-01-2026
Italian club Juventus has reached an official agreement with their former coach Igor Tudor to terminate the contract that bound him to the club, according to Italian media reports in recent hours.

According to several sources, including the "Sky Sport Italia" network, the Croatian coach agreed to mutually terminate his contract with the Bianconeri, ending the agreement that was set to run until the summer of 2027, despite his dismissal from the position last October.

Juventus had decided to part ways with Tudor and hire Luciano Spalletti to take over as the team's head coach, but the Croatian coach remained under an official contract with the club until this agreement was reached.

With the termination of the contract, Teodor is now free to sign with any club outside of Italy, in accordance with the regulations that prevent him from coaching another team in the Italian league during the 2025/2026 season.

Theodor took over as Juventus coach in March 2024, succeeding Thiago Motta, and successfully led the team to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. During his time with the club, he oversaw 24 official matches between the end of the 2024/2025 season and the beginning of the 2025/2026 season, achieving 10 wins, 8 draws, and 6 losses.

On the other hand, the current Juventus coach, Luciano Spalletti, is under contract until the end of the current season, while Thiago Motta remains under contract with the club until 2027.
