Italian coach Antonio Conte expressed great satisfaction with Napoli's performance after their 2-0 away win against Lazio in the eighteenth round of the Italian league.

The coach began speaking about David Neres's injury, which forced him to leave the field in the 70th minute, saying: "We will wait for the test results tomorrow. It doesn't seem to be a muscle injury, and we hope it’s not serious, as we have suffered a lot from injuries for a long time."

Regarding the match, Conte added, "I have to congratulate the players. Playing with such technical quality and physical strength, and preventing Lazio from imposing their style, is not easy. We delivered a very high-level performance."

Regarding the team's tactical approach, especially on the right side, he explained: "When there is enough time for proper preparation, you try to utilize your players' abilities and identify the opponent's weaknesses. The players' commitment was exceptional. We may lack a bit of selfishness in front of the goal despite the many chances, but I am very happy given the injuries and absences we are dealing with."

Conte confirmed that the team is moving in the right direction, saying: "We are showing excellent signs and achieving victories against strong teams with high quality. Now we will be playing every three days or so, with limited opportunities for rotation, and we hope we don’t pay the price for relying continuously on the same players."

He concluded about the transfer market: "I don't like to talk about these matters. Last year, I said let's not make too many changes, then we sold Kvaratskhelia. What we need is clear to everyone. My role is to work with what is available to me, and the pressure on me is always great, but with the players, we will try to give our best."
