Condition Decides Gharib's Stay at Al-Nassr After Al-Ittihad's Interest
Wednesday 07-01-2026
Abdulrahman Gharib set a clear condition for Al-Nassr Club's management to renew his contract, which is to receive more playing opportunities with the first team in the upcoming period.

Al-Nasr's wing has entered the free period that allows him to sign with any club without needing approval from his current club's management, opening the door for interest from several clubs during the winter transfer window.

Al-Ittihad Club of Jeddah stands out as one of the main interested parties in signing Gharib, alongside another capital-based club that is closely monitoring the player's situation in preparation for negotiations.

Gharib is focusing on getting more playing time in order to regain his strong presence and secure the trust of Hervé Renard, the French coach of the Saudi national team, ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The player has not completely closed the door on continuing with Al-Nassr, but his decision depends on the playing opportunities that Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus will offer, according to what was reported by Al-Riyadiyah newspaper.

It is worth mentioning that Abdulrahman Ghareeb joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2022, coming from Al-Ahli Club, on a four-year contract during the previous presidency of Musalli Al-Muammar.
