Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat was absent from the Moroccan national team's final training session, held this evening at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmoura, ahead of the highly anticipated match against Tanzania in the Round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The session saw the absence of Amrabat, noting that the player had remained on the bench during the last match against the Zambian national team, which ended with the Moroccan team winning three goals to none.

The "Atlas Lions" continue their preparations under the supervision of the technical staff, who are working on finalizing the starting lineup and the tactical plan for the match, amid an atmosphere of focus and discipline within the camp, as they approach the knockout stage.

The Round of 16 match between the Moroccan national team and their Tanzanian counterparts is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 6:00 PM at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
