Officials of the Saudi club Al-Shabab are looking to strengthen the team's roster during the current winter transfer window by signing Iraqi player Montazer Majid, a midfielder for the Swedish team Hammarby, as part of the club's plan to bolster its young talent.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," Al-Shabab's management has already begun official negotiations with their counterparts at Hammarby Club to discuss the possibility of signing the player during the current winter transfer window.
The newspaper pointed out that the youth management aims to register Montaser Majid as part of the under-21 foreign players category, in line with the club's strategy to build a competitive team that relies on young talents alongside experienced players.
Montazer Majid is skilled at playing as a right midfielder, and his market value is approximately 3 million euros according to the Transfermarkt website. He is currently under contract with the Swedish club Hammarby until the end of December 2028.
