Al-Zawraa team achieved an important and valuable victory against its counterpart Al-Kahrabaa club with a goal to nil, in the match that brought the two teams together within the ninth round of the Iraqi Stars League, in the match held at Al-Zawraa Stadium.

The only goal of the match came through player Hassan Abdulkarim "Qawqiya" in the 41st minute, after a clear superiority of the Seagulls during most periods of the match, despite the good defensive organization shown by Al-Kahrabaa team and their repeated attempts to close spaces and rely on quick counterattacks.

What distinguished Al-Zawraa most in this match was the high fighting spirit that the players showed from the start whistle, as the team entered the match with a clear determination to earn the three points and not give them up, especially after the recent positive results in the league tournament that boosted the players' morale.

The match witnessed continuous pressure from Al-Zawraa players, and active movements in all lines of play, which contributed to creating many dangerous opportunities that could have increased the goal tally, except for the absence of the final touch at times.

The second reason behind the victory lies in the great commitment to the instructions of coach Emad Al-Nahhas, as the players executed the duties required of them accurately, whether in building attacks or quick defensive transitions.
