Journalistic reports revealed a surprise regarding the decision of the Board of Directors of Al-Nassr Club, which decided to freeze the powers of the Portuguese CEO Semedo and withdraw financial disbursement authority from all individuals, with no payment requests to be accepted without the approval of the executive committee authorized by the management, according to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah."

The Al-Nassr Board of Directors sent all its decisions via email to the club's department managers just a few hours before the team's match against Al-Ettifaq, in a move that was considered surprising within the club's circles.

It is worth mentioning that Semedo was appointed CEO of Al-Nassr last July, becoming the company's fourth CEO. He is a close friend of the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of the Al-Nassr team.

For his part, sports journalist Abdulaziz Al-Oseimi, who is close to the Al-Nassr club, explained that CEO Semedo has full authority according to the established regulations, and no one can limit it as long as it remains within the rules. He confirmed that the recent issue of Al-Nassr being prevented from registering players led to the reconsideration of some procedures and adjustments within the club.
