Brazilian club Santos officially announced on its website the extension of the contract of its historic star Neymar Jr., allowing the player to continue his career with the team until December 2026.

The club posted a video on its official X account hinting at the contract renewal, which was set to expire today, confirming that the Brazilian star will remain with the team.

Neymar returned to Santos last January, coming from Al Hilal on a free transfer. He faced several injuries during the season, but despite that, he performed at an impressive level and contributed significantly to keeping Santos in the Brazilian league.

Neymar recently underwent knee surgery, which will keep him off the field for several weeks, with expectations of his return to strengthen the team after the recovery period.
