Neymar Injured Again with Santos.. Race to Prepare Him Before the World Cup

The Brazilian star Neymar suffered a new injury with Santos, after feeling pain in his right calf, raising concerns ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Rodrigo Zugaib, the coordinator of the medical team at Santos, confirmed that the injury is a "small edema" in the leg, explaining that the expected absence duration ranges between 5 and 10 days only, with daily monitoring of the condition's progress.

According to Brazilian reports, the club's current plan is to prepare Neymar to be ready to join the Brazilian national team next week without any restrictions, especially since the injury is not considered serious.

This development comes just days after Neymar was called up to Brazil's squad for the 2026 World Cup by coach Carlo Ancelotti, amid hopes that he will be present in the tournament as expected.
