The same source clarified that the player will rejoin the team after the Neom match, as the technical and administrative decision to exclude him during the current period remains in effect.
Aboud's absence came as a continuation of a previous disciplinary decision, after he was also excluded from the match against Al-Shabab in the last round, a game that Al-Ittihad won 2-0.
Al-Ittihad Jeddah occupies sixth place in the Saudi League standings with 17 points, while Neom is in seventh place with the same number of points, which adds to the significance of the upcoming match.
