The Algerian national team players resumed their training this evening under the guidance of head coach Vladimir Petković, as part of preparations for the upcoming match against the Equatorial Guinea national team, in the third and final group stage round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The match is scheduled to take place the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, in a game that will not affect the qualification standings, as the Algerian national team has already officially secured their spot in the round of 16, topping Group E, while the Equatorial Guinea team was confirmed to be eliminated from the competition before this round.

The training session featured a special program designed by Bitkovich, where the starting players who participated in the recent match against Burkina Faso were given rest and recovery periods following the strong performance of the team. Meanwhile, the coaching staff focused on preparing the substitute players in anticipation of their potential involvement in the upcoming match.

The technical staff aims through this match to assess the readiness of all players before entering the knockout stage, in order to continue the journey steadily and maintain the positive results throughout the rest of the tournament.
