Jesus Warns Al-Nassr Players About Numbers and Reveals Mane's Replacement
Sunday 28-12-2025
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, head of Al-Nassr Club, emphasized that breaking records does not guarantee winning the league title, stressing that the most important thing is to continue securing victories and accumulating points.

Jesus explained during the press conference after the victory over Al-Akhdoud that the team had been away from competitions for nearly a month before returning with an important win, despite the challenges posed by the opponent at the start of the match.

The Al-Nassr coach pointed out that his team played 10 matches and succeeded in winning them all, scoring 33 goals. He considered these numbers positive, but emphasized that they mean nothing without winning the championship at the end of the season.

Jesus emphasized that a third of the league has passed and nothing has been decided yet, affirming that Al-Nassr is striving to end their seven-year title drought in order to bring joy to their fans.

The Portuguese coach spoke about the pressure of the matches, emphasizing that he is accustomed to playing every three days, and highlighted the importance of rotating players to avoid fatigue and injuries, especially given that Al-Nassr has a large group of talented players.

Jesus revealed the replacement for Sadio Mane during his month-long absence, explaining that Wesley will get the opportunity. He described him as a young talent who needs some refinement, which is the role of the coaching staff.
