Moroccan international Abdel Razak Hamdallah, striker for the Saudi team Al-Shabab, sustained a new injury during his team's match against Qatar's Al-Rayyan, which took place yesterday evening, Tuesday, as part of the Gulf Champions League competition.

Hamdallah’s injury came after his impressive performance in the match, where he contributed to the creation of the first goal and then succeeded in scoring the second himself, helping his team secure a valuable point after being two goals down.

Al Shabab Club announced, through an official statement published on the "X" platform, that medical examinations revealed the player has a hamstring tear, requiring him to undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program lasting between six and eight weeks before returning to competition.

Hamdal's injury adds to Al-Shabab team's struggles this season, amid multiple injuries affecting several of its key players, along with some administrative difficulties that have impacted the team's stability.

It is worth mentioning that Abderrazak Hamdallah participated with Al-Shabab this season in 36 matches across various competitions, during which he scored 27 goals and provided 6 assists, directly contributing to 33 goals, affirming his status as one of the team's most prominent and influential players.
