Ayman Hussein, the striker of Al-Karma team, shared good news inside his team after a period of anticipation and concern regarding his physical condition and the injury he recently sustained during his participation in the Arab Cup Qatar 2025.

Hussein participated in one match in the Arab Cup competition, which was against Bahrain, where he succeeded in scoring Iraq's first goal with the help of Bahrain's goalkeeper Ibrahim Lutfi Allah.

Sources said: "The Iraqi striker, after the end of the Lions of Mesopotamia's matches in the Arab Cup, did not return directly to Iraq with his teammates, as he stayed for a short period in Doha and received the necessary treatment at the Aspetar Center to overcome the injury represented by a hamstring tear and return to play again with his team."

They added: "After his return to Al-Karma, Ayman Hussein showed great improvement in his physical condition, as he successfully recovered fully from the injury. He is now at the disposal of his team's technical staff, where he has shown during training full readiness and ability to participate in matches, which brought happiness inside the team and was clearly reflected on his teammates."

They continued: "Ayman continues to work to reach a better physical condition over time, and his current goal is to participate in the team's next match against Zakho in the eighth round of the Iraqi Stars League. Therefore, he will train harder to be available for the upcoming match on Saturday, as he looks forward to making his presence felt with the team even if only for a few minutes."

They explained: "According to the medical team responsible for monitoring his condition, he is currently able to play for a full half and perhaps a little more. It is expected that he will remain on Al-Karma's bench and participate in the second half of the Zakho match, with the possibility of playing fewer minutes as a precaution depending on the course of the match and the expected roughness."

It is worth mentioning that Ayman Hussein scored one goal with Al-Karma in four matches out of seven that the team has played in the Iraqi Stars League, as the player aspires to make a strong comeback and compete for the title of top scorer in the Iraqi league.
