Hossam Ashour: The Player I Was Outperformed by the Most Is Shikabala
Hossam Ashour, the former Al Ahly star, revealed the player who outperformed him the most throughout his career.
Hossam Ashour said on the program "Al-Nazer" on Al-Nahar channel: "Hossam El Badry is one of the coaches I felt most comfortable with throughout my career at Al Ahly. The longest period during which the team experienced a significant decline in technical performance was under Lasarte, especially when we lost to Sundowns by 5 goals."
He added: "The player I have outperformed the most in one-on-one situations was Shikabala. He is an enjoyable player, and I used to have fun playing against him. He is polite and one of the closest people to me."
He continued: "The player who reassures me the most when I'm on the field is Mohamed Shawky. I wished I could play alongside Omar Gamal, the former Ismaily player, and I also wished to train with Carlos Queiroz, the former coach of the Egyptian national team."
