The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that there is a state of concern within the technical staff of the Egyptian national team due to the fluctuating performance of goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir and the absence of Mohamed El-Shenawy from participating with Al Ahly due to suspension.

Al-Ghandour continued on his program "Stad Al-Mehwar" that Hossam Hassan has not yet decided on the main goalkeeper for the Egyptian national team in the World Cup.

He added that if El Shenawy participates in Al Ahly's upcoming matches and continues to perform at an impressive level until the end of the season, he will be the closest to securing a spot in the Pharaohs' starting lineup, at the expense of Shobeir.

The Egyptian national team is in Group G of the World Cup, which includes Iran, Belgium, and New Zealand alongside it.
